About David:

My idea for getting into movie reviewing was born out of hundreds of post movie discussions with my girlfriend. We always bounce our takeaways off each other, sharing allusions and easter eggs the other may have missed. I decided to start writing them down, and against my better judgement, begin posting them on the internet. A lifelong fan of the art of storytelling, as a child I would never be found without an emergency book packed away somewhere. School, restaurants, or vacation I’d be reading. As someone on the autism spectrum, the movie theatre became my happy place early on. I didn’t have to mask or have outside stimuli while getting to experience my favorite thing; storytelling. I carried this love into adulthood ravenously consuming films. I’ve applied this love to playing Dnd with a close group of friends and still seeing movies regularly. I’m not a kid in film school or a professional writer, these are just my thoughts as a huge fan of the art of film. I hope you enjoy the reviews.
